Creating Repair Tasks

Tasks keep your reconditioning process organized and ensure that every necessary repair is completed before a vehicle hits the lot.

1. Open a vehicle's detail page and go to the Tasks tab.
2. Click Add Task and select a task template or enter a custom description (e.g., "Replace brake pads", "Perform oil change").
3. Assign the task to a specific team member and set a priority level.

Tracking Costs & Receipts

CarFlow automatically calculates your total reconditioning cost by summing up the parts and labor associated with each task.

• Mechanics can update the status of their assigned tasks from "To Do" to "In Progress" to "Done".
• When a task requires parts, users can attach receipts directly to the task.

AI-Powered OCR Scanner

Manually entering receipt data is time-consuming. CarFlow features an intelligent OCR (Optical Character Recognition) scanner to automate this.

1. Take a photo of a parts receipt using your phone, or upload a PDF invoice.
2. CarFlow's AI will automatically extract the vendor name, date, line items, and total cost.
3. Review the extracted data for accuracy and click Approve. The costs will be instantly added to the vehicle's total repair bill.
